Colloidal Ionic Zinc (ZN) 200ml
Zinc plays an essential role in the human metabolism. For example, zinc is vital for the functioning of more than 200 enzymes, for the stabilisation of DNA and the building up of genes and for the transfer of stimulus signals. The human body contains 2-3 grams of zinc found throughout the body, with the highest levels in muscles, liver, kidneys, bones and prostate. Daily intake depends not only on food, but also on sex, age and general health.
Infants, children, adolescents, pregnant women and the elderly need more zinc. Zinc is essential for human health, but many adults and children may not get enough zinc from their diet. A comprehensive review (Walsh et al. 1995) of current knowledge about zinc and human health concludes that there is potential for zinc deficiency worldwide. In the United States, studies conclude that a significant proportion of the general population is at risk of zinc deficiency. A mild chronic deficiency is predicted in people with a low meat diet and high levels of plants and fibres. Symptoms of zinc deficiency include reduced sense of taste and smell, skin diseases, mental lethargy and reduced fertility. A zinc-containing dietary supplement can successfully compensate for an insufficient zinc intake through the diet. Almost half of all Germans consume too little zinc. The main reason for this is modern nutrition, which is often very low in zinc. The average zinc requirement of a healthy adult is approx. 15mg per day. A regular, sufficient zinc supply is important for the organism, because zinc strengthens the body's defences. Zinc activates in particular the defence cells which fight viruses and bacteria. With an adequate zinc supply, the body is more resistant (susceptibility to infections) and more efficient (sport, age, growth) and regenerates faster (wound healing, hair growth, inflammations, infections).
Consequences of a zinc deficiency can be:
Increased susceptibility to infections, disorders of wound healing, dry scaling skin, inflammatory skin diseases, acne, zinc deficiency dermatitis: reddening of the skin and pustules, especially in the face, fingers and anal and genital areas.
Hair loss, decreasing hair quality. Growth disorders in children and adolescents. Potency disorders, odor and taste disorders, vision disorders, mood instability. Zinc against hay fever. Harmless substances such as dust, animal hair or flower pollen can trigger an allergy, as the body classifies these substances as threatening. An allergy manifests itself among other things through sneezing attacks, a constantly running nose, itchy and watery eyes and neck scratches.
Those affected should have symptoms of this kind clarified by a doctor by means of an allergy test. For allergy sufferers, there are helpful drugs that prevent the release of histamine in the body and the possibility of hyposensitization. Especially patients suffering from allergies often avoid foods to which they could be allergic, such as milk and dairy products, eggs, meat and pulses. This results in an undersupply of the vital trace element zinc.
Zinc influences the immune system at various levels. It inhibits the release of histamine dose-dependently and can increase the sensitivity threshold of allergenic substances. An undersupply of zinc can impair the immune system in its function, so that the danger of allergic reactions can increase. A zinc supply can on the one hand restore a weakened immune system and on the other hand it can also be used as a biological agent in hay fever treatment. Zinc not only stimulates the immune system, but also has a direct anti-allergic effect by preventing the release of messenger substances after contact with the allergen, thus helping to avoid the annoying allergy symptoms.
Attention athletes: Without zinc there is no puff. If the energy conversion of the organism is increased, as for example with the sport, also an increase need of zinc exists. With high sporty load the need rises, since this micro nutrient is increased both over the sweat and over the urine excreted: With 1 liter sweat approximately 20% of the daily taken up trace element zinc are lost. The risk of a zinc undersupply with sportsmen rises with increasing sweat loss. This deficit should be filled up as fast as possible, because: With unsatisfactory supply with this trace element athletes quickly run out of breath! And: These zinc losses can be a reason for the fact that sportsmen suffer more frequently than other humans from infections.
Colloidal zinc can be applied to/from:
For hair loss, to improve the growth of nails and hair. For vegetarian diets, reduced taste and sense of smell, mental lethargy and reduced fertility. For growth disorders in children. For skin redness and pustules, especially face, fingers and anal genital area. For increased susceptibility to infections. Acne. For disorders of wound healing, dry, scaly skin. For hay fever and prevention of colds. For erectile dysfunction.
for the optimal absorption of colloidal zinc:
The above effect can be achieved by taking 1 TL or 2 TL per day ½ TL with a glass of water. The intake period should be at least 10 weeks. As with all other colloids: try it yourself, not every body reacts the same. The spoon used should be made of plastic or wood (no metal!).
